Twyla has always looked up. While other rabbits focused on what was in front of them — the clover, the fence, the dog at the end of the yard — Twyla was tracking something further out. She's a night rabbit in every sense: drawn to the hours when the stars come out, the jazz gets darker, and the Pinot Noir gets poured.
She has tried modeling (the camera loved her, she found it adequate). She did a stint in regional theater that she describes as "formative." And most recently, she finished her first screenplay, which she is currently shopping around Los Angeles through channels she prefers not to discuss. She is quietly confident it will be made.
Twyla is a night rabbit...always looking up at the stars and hoping one day she would become one herself. She has tried modeling, acting and recently wrote her first script that she hopes she can shop around LA. She loves the nightlife but can also found on the beach at night or by a pool sipping a glass of Pinot Noir from Oregon.
Twyla is most comfortable at the edge of a pool at midnight, or on a beach where the waves make noise and the sky is clear. She has strong opinions about Oregon Pinot Noir and will tell you about them if you ask. She will also tell you about them if you don't.

On the glaze: Twyla's head is matte cream speckled with deep iron spots — like a night sky mapped onto porcelain. Her body is glazed in deep, textured black with carved swirling patterns that catch the light as you move around her. The contrast between the luminous head and the dark sculptural body is intentional. She is always the brightest thing in a dark room.
