But ask her about love and she goes quiet. Looks away. Changes the subject with a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. For all her sophistication, all her ease in a crowd, that particular territory remains uncharted. She is waiting, perhaps, for someone who sees past the bronze dress and the perfect posture.
Dahlia is hand-built stoneware, standing nearly 16 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Her gown is glazed in rich bronze, her face rendered in black and white engobe, and her eyes catch the light in a pale, clear blue. She was made in 2026 in Joseph, Oregon.
She is one of a kind. She will not be repeated.
